Portable Sink & Handwashing Rentals in NJ
Restrooms are only half the sanitation story. Pottys Plus provides OSHA-compliant handwashing stations and sanitizer stands for events, construction sites, and emergency relief across New Jersey.
Hygiene Best Practices Guide
💧 When to Wash vs. Sanitize?Handwashing (Soap & Water): Essential near food, dining areas, and "dirty" construction zones.
Sanitizer: Best for high-traffic entry/exit points and ticket booths.
- Place stations near break areas and lunch spots.
- For dirty trades (concrete, roofing), increase the ratio of sinks to workers.
- OSHA requires accessible handwashing facilities on most job sites.
- Food Courts: 1 sink per 2 food vendors.
- Kids' Zones: Place sinks near petting zoos or bounce houses.
- Entrances: Place sanitizer stands at main gates.
A good rule of thumb: 1 Sink for every 4 Standard Restrooms. For food events, double that number.
Portable Sink Rental FAQs
Do the portable sinks need a water hose connection?
No. Our portable sinks are self-contained with a freshwater tank and a greywater waste tank built-in. They are foot-pump operated and do not require electricity or a hose connection.
Does soap and paper towel come with the rental?
Yes. All Pottys Plus handwashing stations are delivered fully stocked with hand soap and paper towels. We can restock them during scheduled weekly service visits.
Can these sinks be used in winter?
Standard foot-pump sinks can freeze in sub-zero NJ temperatures. For winter construction, we recommend placing units indoors (heated space) or asking about our winterization options.
