Portable Toilet Placement Guide
Where you place portable restrooms can make or break the guest experience (and your delivery day). This guide covers New Jersey best practices for events and construction sites—including distance, access, and ADA considerations.
The most common mistake? Placing units where our service trucks can't reach them. Remember: We need to get within 30 feet to pump and clean the unit.
The 3 Rules of Placement
Ensure a clear path for our delivery truck. No locked gates, narrow alleys, or soft mud.
Place units 50-150 feet from the main crowd. Accessible, but not the center of attention.
Accessible units must be on a firm, obstacle-free route. No curbs or steps.
Specific Scenarios
Weddings: Use natural screening (hedges/fences) or tents to hide units from photographers.
Construction: Minimize walking time. Place units near the hoist or active work zone.
Driveways: We can place units on driveways; just ensure no cars block us on service day.
